Terms and Conditions   Black Women Art and Journals

1. Copyright Ownership
   The artist retains full copyright ownership of all designs, artwork, and creative content sold or displayed online. No part of the artwork may be reproduced, distributed, or used in any form without the artist's explicit written consent with the exception of custom pieces.
2. Prohibited Use
   Buyers and third parties are strictly prohibited from using the artwork for commercial purposes, including but not limited to resale, reproduction, modification, or incorporation into other works, without prior written permission from the artist.
3. Personal Use Only
   Purchased physical art is for personal use only. The buyer may not replicate, scan, or digitally reproduce the artwork for any purpose, including sharing on social media or other platforms, without the artist's permission.
4. Attribution Requirement
   If the artwork is shared online or in public spaces, the artist must be credited with their full name or designated handle (e.g., "@ArtistName"). Failure to provide proper attribution is a violation of these terms.
5. No Transfer of Copyright
   The sale of physical art does not transfer copyright ownership to the buyer. The artist retains all rights to the design, including the right to reproduce, display, and sell the artwork in other formats.
6. Custom Commissions
   For custom or commissioned works, the artist retains copyright ownership unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Any additional usage rights must be negotiated and documented separately.
7. Unauthorized Reproduction
   Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or sale of the artwork is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action. This includes but is not limited to printing, copying, or creating derivative works.
8. Social Media and Promotion
   The artist reserves the right to use images of the sold artwork for promotional purposes, including social media, portfolios, and marketing materials. If the buyer prefers their purchased artwork not to be shared, they must notify the artist in writing at the time of purchase.
9. Legal Action for Violations
   Any violation of these terms and conditions, including unauthorized use or reproduction of the artwork, may result in legal action to protect the artist's intellectual property rights. The artist reserves the right to pursue compensation for damages incurred.
